In May 2011, a CenturyVallen employee earned his Expert Sustainability Professional (ESP) certification delivered under the Canadian Green Sustainability Program (CGSP). The CGSP program, developed by the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) is stated as being a progressive training tool that refocuses conventional cleaning methodologies into a cleaning for health first philosophy. The program is designed to provide cleaning consistency while detoxifying buildings of harmful and toxic chemicals. The Canadian Green Sustainability Program provides third party certification, through Franken LeDrew Consulting, to every aspect of the industry – including Building Owners, In-house Service Providers, Building Service Contractors, Distributors and Manufacturers.

The ESP certification affords him the authority to perform onsite facility audits for companies interested in becoming environmentally sustainable, or companies beginning to pursue LEED certification. As a result of the facility audit, an ESP certified individual will recommend environmentally sustainable solutions or products consistent with EcoLogo or GreenSeal standards. In addition to these functions, they are also qualified to train and certify employees of other organizations that would like an in-house environmental champion within their facility. These in-house facility providers can be certified as Certified Green Sustainability Contractors (CGSC).
