Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of approximately 25 employees with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.

• Ensure compliance with TDG regulations.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Maintain a high level of communication with other branches, supervisors, leads, and managers.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years or more of supervisory experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials
• Information System (WHMIS) considered an asset.
• Proficient with computer software programs (Microsoft Suite).
• The ability to exhibit team spirit in the DC and effectively interface with warehouse personnel to resolve customer and inventory related issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and problem solve.
• Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
• Forklift Certification highly desired.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

The Territory Manager is responsible for the development of new and existing accounts, implementation of tactical plans, sales performance, gross margins, market share growth, profitability and value added cost savings programs.

Responsibilities Include:

• To represent CenturyVallen to customers and prospects.
• To identify our customer’s needs including: accurate selection of products, pricing, promotions and systems to meet those needs.

Position Summary:

CenturyVallen Delivery Drivers operate company-leased vehicles to deliver merchandise to and from customers and suppliers. The successful candidate will provide our clients with superior customer service while working in a fast-paced environment at our Edmonton South branch.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Keep warehouse supervisor informed of shortages or damaged merchandise and ensure customer concerns are referred to the supervisor / manager.
• Team Player: The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to work effectively with other warehouse personnel.
• Organization / Planning: The ability to meet deadlines for shipment ‘cut-off’ times to customers while simultaneously coordinating multiple projects.
• Material Handling: Follow proper company policies and procedures when handling paperwork and inventory. Make deliveries as scheduled and perform additional duties (such as loading/unloading, order-picking and packing) as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
• Safety: Steel-toed boots are mandatory. When necessary, additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and safety glasses are supplied.

Job Overview

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for improving process flows and following procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness within the Branch Warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor must have the ability to interact with people at all levels while providing direction to their team with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service. Solid product knowledge, computer skills and the ability to manage multiple activities effectively and simultaneously is required.
